Tooth replacement

When the impresion of the implant has been made, the gingiva former is inserted again, while the final tooth replacement is made.

Sculpting, colouring and the functional adaptation will take place at the porcelain technician. From the making of the impression, it takes approx. 2 weeks before the finished crown or bridge can be tested in the mouth at the dentist's.

The abutments are fastened to the implants with the axial screw. Then the implant supported bridge is mounted on the two abutments. The final functional relations during mastication are adjusted directly in the mouth. The dentist will assure that solitary strain on an implant is avoided during the normal masticatory function. After this the dentist will instruct in correct oral hygiene. Dental floss or an interdental brush must be used between the crowns. Remember that one of the most important conditions for a long stabile lifetime for an implant treatment is a perfect oral hygiene.
